Liverpool community college choose a VWM CNC router |
 |
 |
VWM woodworking machinery recently installed one of their quality re-built CNC routers to Liverpool Community College.
The main objective for the brief was the physical size of the machine this was obviously the main concern as being a training centre room was not at a premium most new manufactures in today’s market place only produce large size machines our selves included so the obvious choice was to go down the second hand route.
The main problem with going down the second hand route was the fact that most suppliers could not give the quality and build level of which VWM endeavour to aspire to this means virtually 99% of the machine being re-placed with new and or all main mechanical parts being re-machined.
The choice was easy one the expert VWM sales teams had in depth discussions with the main contractor and end client and the machine supplied was a fully RE-BUILT Wadkin UX 138.
The whole of the machine was stripped back to its existing casting and all parts were re-placed with new including the control system which VWM used the Osai 10/110 series a high quality paint finish was applied and the machine has included a full 12 months parts and labour warranty.
The software supplied was Licom to which VWM supply as standard with all their new and used machines and of course installation and training were given by VWM staff
