VWM have been in the woodworking industry now for over 30 years, established in 1981 by William Varey.
Starting out life as a service business – maintaining and repairing customers’ machinery, VWM soon progressed into manufacturing and refurbishment services as well.
William Varey was immersed in the woodworking industry, learning his craft at a young age with leading brand Wadkin, as many staff have done since.
The current VWM 3 acre site is in fact based on Wadkin’s former base in Trawden, Lancashire.New Machines Used Machines

Since moving there 21 years ago, VWM has expanded and developed the site which now houses a showroom for new and refurbished machines, a workshop for manufacturing and warehouse for extensive spare parts and stock machines.
VWM now supply machinery to businesses across the UK and beyond which may have 2 or 200 staff working on them.
