Morticers

A morticer has a square chisel and auger, used to drill various sizes of square holes. Our new and used mortice machine tables allow movement of the timber both side-to-side and front-to-back, enabling you to make square or rectangular holes in both hard and soft wood. Some machines are fitted with a vibrating head for ease of use.
