Burnley College invest in New CNC from VWM

Burnley College have been scouring the market for a small footprint CNC router but with “big machine” features and capabilities, this was found at VWM who now manufacture the Technos 1310 which is a small footprint machine but with all the features of an industrial machine.

The machine is equiped with a full 3 axis Colour monitor with all the displays of larger machines it also has a tool change spindle with a 6 position tool changer and is totally enclosed to comply with the strict HSE regulations.

The machine has a 250mm Z axis with a table size of 1300mm x 1000mm, (bigger models are available) 60cm/3 vacuum pump and Memory stick capability on the controller.

All drives are driven by servo motors with full feed back to the controller so total accuracy and speed are ensured.
